  10. This is an aid for SMARTCOM-II™ owners.  It consists of a set of 
  11. Autopilot files that all up to 10 files to be down loaded from the GEnie™ 
  12. Macintosh™ Software Libraries.  Because SMARTCOM-II doesn't have 
  13. variables or formal subroutines with Autopilot scripts, some editting of 
  14. these files must be performed before starting the file transfer.

  16. To set up for the download:

  18. 0. Put the SMARTCOM-II document on a disk named "Untitled", in a folder 
  19. named "Genie ƒ".
  20.  
  21. 1. Figure out what files, by Macintosh software libraryfile number, you 
  22. want transferred and make a list.  
  23.  
  24. 2. Number these files starting with 10 and counting down to 1.  If you 
  25. get to one, stop, the current set of Autopilot files will transfer 10 or 
  26. fewer files.
  27.  
  28. 3. Enter SMARTCOM and open Autopilot "file10" (for the first file to be 
  29. transferred).  Change the number in file10 to the appropriate file 
  30. number.  Repeat as necessary for each file to be transferred, opening a 
  31. new Autopilot for each file.

  33. 4. Assuming you actually want to transfer 10 files, enter GEnie and get 
  34. to the point at which you are ready to enter the file number to be 
  35. downloaded.

  37. 5. Using the Perform Now Autopilot function, double click the Download 
  38. autopilot and walk away.  If you had wanted to transfer 9 files, 
  39. Download2 would have been double clicked.

  41. 6. After all files have been transferred, the Download Autopilot sequence 
  42. will hang up the phone.
